SUMMARY
I provide input on specialized medical/scientific strategic and operational
input into core medical affairs activities such as: health-care
professional/provider interactions; generation of clinical and scientific
data (enhancing therapeutic benefit and value); educational initiatives
(medical education, data, guidelines and value proposition); safeguarding
patient safety (risk minimization activities / safety surveillance
activities). I work closely with sales, marketing and commercial teams to
provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies, and to support
medical/marketing activities (promotional material generation/product
launches) and market access. I provide scientific and technical support for
assigned products; deliver scientific presentations; identify national and
regional KOL network and develop relationships with KOLs; and develop
innovative research concepts for clinical data generation.
ACHIEVEMENTS
. Developed national strategies for field-based personnel in alignment
with brand goals. Successful translation into regional HCP outreach
and education plans resulted in our team being viewed as most
favorable and unbiased by HCPs in a national independent survey,
ultimately earning the company more credibility with physicians.
. Managed multi-national strategic projects that involved facilitation
of affiliate congress activities worldwide. Recognized for reducing
redundancies, addressing local affiliate needs, and creating impactful
resources, requested by all worldwide affiliates.
. Established a national KOL network for a first-in-class rare disease
indication. Identifying this list of KOLs enabled the company to move
forward with the clinical program. This network is now the source for
all clinical trial sites in this indication. Recognized for problem
solving in building relationships with top KOLs.
