PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
THRUST WIRELESS NETWORKING - BOCA RATON, FLORIDA
President (2006 to Present)
Provide vision and direction for start-up organization in post-development
stage, including building the corporate identity, securing investment
partners and leading trailblazing R&D projects. Conceive, analyze,
research, develop and manufacture new product in the field of wireless
networking. Manage the patent application process. Enforce Codes of Federal
Regulations (CFR) and other requirements. Ensure product safety and
profitability.
Selected Contributions:
- Invented the first-ever USB, auto-positioning, microwave antenna that
provides WiFi access to U.S. consumers. The affordable product auto-
locates access points to offer free Internet access in regions that
lack network infrastructure.
- Produced a working product from the ground up (from concept and
feasibility studies through development and manufacturing); ensured
intellectual property protection and shareholder equity through all
phases of the project.
- Successfully minimized capital expenses while overseeing the
development of special machinery for superior-quality rapid
prototyping and manufacturing.
- Authored a report subsidized by the U.S. Defense Department for
Advanced Research.
-
ZOA / Electric Window Systems (EWS) - Massachusetts
Project Manager / Product Development and Engineering (1997 to 2006)
Spearheaded and directed product development and advancements in
alternative energy and other fields. Leveraged knowledge of materials,
processes and U.S. patent law in facilitating projects from concept through
execution. Oversaw market analysis and product feasibility studies.
Negotiated R&D terms with industry leaders and stakeholders. Contracted
with global suppliers, manufacturers and scientists.
Selected Contributions:
- Pioneered new type of sunglass lens that completely eradicated solar
glare. Negotiated R&D terms with renowned scientists specializing in
mechanical and photonic engineering. Contracted with overseas
manufacturer that cut manufacturing costs by 50x. Patent pending.
- Conceptualized, developed and strategically patented automated windows
for advanced smart-home technology.
Air Technology / Light Sciences / Arthur D. Little Co. - Massachusetts
Product Developer and Engineer (1992 to 1997)
Orchestrated all aspects of R&D projects including securing partnerships
and alliances with notable leaders in alternative technology, electronic,
optical and mechanical engineering. Leveraged knowledge of research and
development, advanced manufacturing processes, materials technology and
federal laws pertaining to consumer risk, product liability and safety.
Managed budgets, contracts and stakeholder relations.
Selected Contributions:
- Created a new material and leading-edge technology that produced the
highest level of efficiency and indoor air quality of conventional air-
conditioning products (improved efficiency by 44% over conventional
systems while eliminating the use of CFCs).
- Co-developed and drafted the phase-I DARPA contract for advanced
lighting technology that successfully modified sleep-wake cycles for
people traveling through time zones. The technology was used on NASA's
Space Shuttle Columbia.
