Project: Environmental Awareness Among the Rural people

DESCRIPTION: Today, one of the biggest problems is environmental crisis to

the human society. The present crisis situation of environment resulted due

to rapid industrialization in the wake of bringing about revolutions in the

field of agriculture, commerce and industry. This rapid material progress

no doubt has made man's life happier, easier and wealthier but has put man

to face with a series of challengers. The aim of the present study is to

find out to what extent the palayam villagers have aware and concern about

the environment and the environmental problems they face.
