Served as Engagement Manager for this client as they implemented SAP after
merger with new owner. This project included re-engineering business
processes and revising standard (France based) parent company configuration
to accommodate the different manufacturing practices here in the United
States.

Led Plant Maintenance Project to upgrade PG&E system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0.

SAP Technical Upgrade from version 4.7e to ECC 6.0. Complete system upgrade
including functional changes as well.
Adjoined/KANBAY Consulting - Director
Florida Cyrtals--Sugar Cane Grower and Sugar Refiner
Served as Project Manager for this growing producer and refiner of Sugar.
This SAP R/3 (version 4.70 Enterprise) implementation included SAP's Sales
and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE),
Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Financials (FI) and
Controlling (CO) modules with complete conversion from Maximo to the Plant
Maintenance (PM) module.
Mr. Martin also served as Functional Lead for PM team as well as being
responsible for the de-commissioning of the Maximo system which housed all
MRO inventory and Work Order system. His responsibilities included work
effort estimation, developing and managing project work plan, requirements
gathering, gap analysis and resolution, process and system design
(including numerous data conversions, reports and user exits),
configuration, unit and system testing, training development and support,
data conversion and knowledge transfer to the client team and super users.
Mr. Martin was the last to leave this project and led the testing of
impacts on live functionality, go-live and post-production support, as well
as providing additional knowledge transfer.
U.S. Sugar--Sugar Cane Grower and Sugar Refiner, Clewiston, Fl
Project Manager and co-systems architect for this client in their first SAP
Implementation (ECC 6.0). This client had total of twenty three legacy
systems which included but was not limited to HR, Materials Management,
Warehouse and Financial software. Mr. Martin led the Project Prep and
Blueprinting on this project including the overall strategy for
decommission of all legacy systems.
BEARING POINT, Public Sector Practice - Sr. Manager
Purdue University
Sr. Manager - lead this Implementation of SAP's ECC 5.0 Solution for Higher
Education. This implementation was undertaken to support the Universities
need to become more accountable for the reporting and budgeting of funds,
utilizing SAP's Material Management (MM), Logistics Execution
(LE),(IM),(WM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Financials (FI) and Controlling
(CO) modules in a highly interfaced environment. This project also included
SAP's Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) functionality.
As the lead member of this team, worked alongside members of the Finance
teams to develop, implement and support global business solutions during
the phased roll-out. Mr. Martin's main focus was in the areas of SRM
(Supplier Relationship Management), Materials Management, Inventory
Management, Warehouse Management, and Plant Maintenance.
Initially, managed the team that conducted "as-is" "to-be" process design
workshops to develop and blueprint, capture gaps, open design issues, RICE
objects, and change management issues.

Lead Analyst for this international multi- billion dollar producer and
supplier of Agro-Chemicals.
Provided production support and business process redesign for a full suite
implementation of the SAP R/3 (4.6c) system in a shared services
environment. Specific areas redesigned included work orders, Maintenance
Repair and Operating Supplies (MRO) materials replenishment and
procurement, internal and external service management.
Worked on team responsible for final testing and issue resolution for a
full production system upgrade from SAP R/3 version 3.1h to version 4.6c.
Specific responsibilities included gap identification, analysis and
resolution, configuration, testing, data mapping, data conversion, and
post-production support.
Zenneca--Major Pharmaceutical Chemical Manufacturer
Lead Analyst supporting the multi-site implementation of the SAP R/3 (4
.6c) system for this leading producer and supplier of pharmaceutical
chemicals.
The SAP implementation included the Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial
(FI), Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Materials
Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM),
Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance modules in a shared
services environment.
Responsible for the process design, configuration, testing, training
development and data conversion preparation and testing for the Plant
Maintenance (PM), Materials Management process, (IM), (WM), and related
master data, as well as for providing support in other process areas.
This was a global implementation leveraging SAP,s certified FastPharms
solution.
Astra--Specialty Chemicals Manufacturer
Lead Analyst supporting the first phase of the SAP R/3 (3.1h) system for
this producer of specialty pharmaceuticals. SAP was implemented to support
client procurement, inventory management, and financial systems with SAP
Materials Management (MM), Financials (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules in
a shared services environment. Phase II included additional functionality
of SAP's Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Plant
Maintenance (PM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules for the client's
European manufacturing facility.
Mr. Martin led the Materials Management and Plant Maintenance team during
both phases, commencing with the latter portion of the common design and
prototyping phase through system test, training and go-live in what
amounted to a muliti-year implementation. He continued that role through
post-production support operations, as well as support of Phase II
activities, at several sites throughout the US.
ICI Americas Full Time Employee --Global Agro-Chemical Manufacturer
Served as Maintenance Manager supporting the Mobile Alabama site. During
this time began working with SAP R/2 Inventory and Plant Maintenance
modules. Around 1992 Mr. Martin was moved from the Maintenance Manager
position into a business process lead role on the project upgrade from
SAP's R/2 ERP to R/3. Version (3.1h).
This was a global implementation of SAP software package to support the
companies complex supply chain.
Led the Materials Management and Plant Maintenance team through the common
design and prototyping phase, including the decommissioning of the legacy
system. He continued that role through final design and system test and
was heavily involved in training efforts. Additionally, he performed post-
production support operations for several additional business units.
This company was the second customer of SAP in Germany. (1974)
