Job Profile: Participate in the acquisition and effectively execute

the export project orders with the objective of improving planned sales

margin, ensure receipt of final payment and site closure to customer

Areas of responsibility/Tasks in order of Priority

Material procurement and quality control :( Supply chain Management)

Place necessary indents on works, place order on sub

-contractor/vendors after doing estimate of quantities. Cost

calculation of equipment procured from works/vendors. Arrange for

Inspection.

Project Execution :( Project Management)

Organize customer Inspection, packing and dispatch from vendor, works,

subcontractors etc. for installation and commissioning at site. Resolve

issues at site and ensure timely completion with minimum extra cost in

order to ensure planned TO and Profitability.

Approval of drawings:

Carry out site visit, analysis; evaluate the order for technical

aspects. Propose and resolve technical issues/get drawings approved

from customer

Project Acquisition (Tendering)

Carry out bid evaluation of tender documents to ensure exact

requirement of customer. Send the enquiries for the bought item to

various vendors, costing of internal products to get the completive

price and also ensure the technical compliance of the product with

respect to project requirement.

Vendor Management

Evaluate global/local vendors (including vendors for engineering),

forwarding and shipping companies. Negotiate at pre tender /contract

stage with global/local vendors in order to procure goods and services

of optimal quality and cost in order to ensure profit improvement.
