Started as a part-time chain merchandiser, continued to a full time chain merchandising position. After which I was promoted two positions to Chain Sales Consultant. Then I promptly earned “Chain Department Salesperson of the Year” five consecutive years starting in 2005. Leading to another promotion of Chain Area Sales Manager. With this new responsibility I earned “Chain Area Sales Manager of the Year” in my first year.
My duties as a Chain Sales Manager were to assist the Chain Sales Director in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating Pre-Sales Consultants/Merchandisers. Managed sales merchandising activities in the West Valley territory. While ensuring execution of mandated distribution in accounts, sales, and service. Responsible for the execution of company standards, which included ad execution, out of stock measurements pre and post weekend. Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager
Managed a team of 10 employees in the data processing department while in charge of the company’s networking systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), internet, and other data communication systems. Planned and implemented WAN using Cisco Routers, switches, laying network cable, etc. Duties and responsibilities included training employees on data entry processing, how to use up to date software programs, tech support for windows 2000 desktop systems, including setting up and configurations for all company employee computers. Troubleshooting all company printers, maintaining server backups and DAT tape libraries for disaster recovery. Promoted from data processor to the MIS department in six months and a little over one year to a MIS manager.

Production Control/Shipping/Customer Service Specialist Supervisor
Supervised three departments that included production control, shipping, and customer service. Production control duties were to do hourly tracking of company’s merchandise to meet our customers shipping deadline dates and times. Shipping department duties were to coordinate and expedite shipping couriers with our customers using local airlines, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. Customer Service duties were to work with sales and financing department to resolve shipment and billing issues as well as provide up to date information when customers called hourly. Resolved issues with engineering paperwork and maintained monthly performance reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Lead a team of nine, employees were in all three departments and I conducted an ongoing training program to help develop and build my staff to their highest capabilities.
