Personal Statement:
I am a friendly, loyal and clearly dedicated individual who has an ambition to succeed in any
given environment. Although I have extensive experience in the construction industry, I love to

Work Experience:
M.B.Shyani &Co. – Executive Director/ Partner 1989- 2002
Ahmedabad, India.
• Over 13 years of engineering experience in the construction of Industrial, Residential and
Commercial buildings. The residential construction work was for single –story houses to multi-
storey apartment buildings. The multi-storey buildings were reinforced concrete construction. I
also worked on construction projects related to industrial sheds and infrastructures such as
Underground water tanks, roads, retaining walls and other housing related facilities.
• As one of the principal owners of the business, I worked on projects from their conception to their
completion and delegated various duties to the engineers, supervisors, accountants, and
storekeepers, which were under my supervision. I am responsible for purchasing, finance, cost
estimation, and arranging weekly and fortnightly meetings with the government engineer in
charge of progress of the work and for any problems that arose during the execution of the
project.
• In the cost-estimating department, I am responsible for working out quantities from the drawings
given and estimating the cost of the work of different items through rate analysis from the
prevailing market rates of laborers and materials required and evaluating the total cost of the
entire project.
• I am responsible for contacting clients, preparing cost-estimates, bidding for the projects,
construction management, liaising with owners and architects/engineers and executing the
projects in a most efficient and profitable manner. I performed construction supervision and
solved field problems on all projects where client satisfaction was the primary goal.

Started own business after getting contractor license from CSLB under AASHIYANA BUILDERS INC.
