Replace or rewire potential transformers (PT) and current transformers (CT)
for low side metering
Swap out power transformers and all associated equipment
Install coupling capacitors, wave traps, and CCVT's
Pull cable and run conduit to various locations in substations
Repair and add substation ground grids
Train apprentices on all aspects of substation construction and maintenance
Operate heavy equipment such as boom trucks, bucket trucks, aerial lifts,
lulls, walking cranes, back hoes, and bobcats
Pour concrete footers for high side and low side structures
Perform all aspects of substation construction
Safety
Wearing of proper PPE for each individual task
Good understanding of work zone protection
Good working knowledge of clearances, and minimum approach distances
