corporate accounts including VIPs. All air, rental car, hotel and ground
transportation arranged using Sabre GDS and the Internet obtaining the most
cost efficient routes adhering to each companies travel policies for both
domestic and international travel.
July 2011 to July 2012: Travel Counselor, American Express Corporate

Responsible for arranging business travel reservations for a corporate
account including air, hotel, rail and rental car for both domestic and
international using Sabre GDS, American Express travel tools and the
Internet. Advises the most cost and time efficient routes using the
guidelines of the corporate account's specifications outlined in their
travel policy. Have experience working in general reservations, hotel,
group and recruit desk for this specific corporate client.

Responsible for all travel for employees and subcontractors, including
negotiation of lodging rates and booking of air and ground transportation
in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Hotel cost negotiations
have resulted in lower rates in the last six years. Instrumental in
bringing Sabre in house to do all air travel, car rental and hotel
reservations, improving on management of both cost and time of the travel
function. Prepare all travel expense charges for proper recording by the
accounting department to ensure that expenses are recorded properly and
timely. Assist in the enforcement of the company travel policy while

Coordinated all air travel, car rental and hotel reservations for all
employees and subcontractors. Worked extensively with Gandolfo Travel as
well as Internet sites to ensure the lowest possible airfare was obtained
meeting the necessary time constraints for all programs. Coordinated car
shares, negotiated the lowest possible rates with hotels for individuals as
well as large and small room blocks. Responsible for submitting all rooming

consultant. Cultivated a large following of clients throughout the years
of employment at the travel agencies I worked for.
