Career Summary:
January 2009 – April 2013: Marketing Director/Community Relations Coordinator; Courtenay Springs
Village. Responsible for all marketing, including creating all ads for publications, event planning and
external marketing outreach programs in order to source qualified leads. Conduct all property tours and
fulfill leasing and move in goals. Abilities include professional relationships and maintaining a positive
image of the community with referral sources, residents, influencers and staff. Additional responsibilities
include all photography and content in the monthly newsletter, arrange public speakers for educational
presentations and seminars, conduct public speaking engagements (off campus), compose all press releases,
(very good relationships have been developed with all media contacts), write and create a half page monthly
article featured in Senior Scene magazine, act as a liaison between residents and staff, coordinate with both
maintenance and housecleaning supervisors to assure apartments are pristine and ready to move in, all while

developed new web sites, cultivated Internet leads to sales, developed marketing materials such as
brochures, newsletters, promotional materials, followed up with customers as a liaison and customer service
representative after the sale including setting up service appointments and walking them through their initial
process, increased CSI scores, (the best ever), created new Excel programs to track history of customers and
referrals, assisted and coordinated special events, photographed vehicles and helped in creating ads for
publications and web sites.
June 2005-June 2007: Business Operations (Director) & Sales Manager; Ideal Image. Demonstrated
aligning performance for success, (highest ratio of closed sales in Corporate), built a successful team,
collaborated partnering, information monitoring, lead through vision and values, planned, organized, and
managed all aspects of the business including; reporting, marketing, sales, human resources, advertising,
guest services, and all operations of the business.
June 2003-July 2004: General Manager and Marketing Manager; Traxx at Jungle Village. Duties
included managing all aspects of the business for owners who were out of state. Particular detail included
marketing, public relations, advertising, accounting, sales reporting, business plans, human resources,
(managed up on one hundred-fifty employees), and overall promotion of the business. I Increased net sales
39% in less than one year. Created and “branded” a new logo personally as well as created all ads for
target advertising. Note: The owners sold the business and the new owners wished to have their sons
operate the business.
