Licensed tool and die maker since ****. Started drafting courses at
night during the 4-year term of my apprenticeship. Emphasis focused on
designing and building tools that were easy to make and service and
maintain high quality repeatability. Started looking for challenging work
on a contract basis. Bought my first computer using AutoCAD, Mastercam, to
improve design times and eliminate redundant drafting procedures in 1985.
My strong machine shop skills proved me to be a very efficient tool
designer. Utilizing excellent communication and team player attitude has
made innovative tools become reality. Simplifying tool designs (Solidworks)
to utilize CNC and reduce turn around times.

Plastic Extrusion and related down stream tooling. Design and build
Single and mulicavity single and dual feed extrusion dies. Vacuum sizers,
online punching and adhesive tape applications streamlined standardized.
Combining roll forming and plastic extrusion to eliminate double handling
utilize J.I.T. principles.
Special Purpose Machinery using a master die set, interchangeable tooling
inserts reducing the customers cost and lead times. Innovative designs
utilizing pneumatics and hydraulics and controllable motion slide tooling.
Online quality control jigs and fixtures, using various electronic gages
and sensors.
Stamping Dies and related tooling. Design and build. Single hit, coining,
forming. Progressive and transfer dies 20 stages and less incorporating
sensors for die protection. Designed to incorporate ease of maintenance and
quick tool change in press. Many years of die maintenance in several
stamping environments.
Jigs and Fixtures, design and build. Drilling, milling, grinding, riveting
screwing, welding, checking, reworking, assembling, holding, indexing,
packaging, end of arm.
Roll Forming and related down stream tooling. Design and build. Rolls,
flying cut offs, welding. Roller piercing units, roller marking, side
piercing.
Spring Manufacturing and related tooling. 4-slide, multi head screw
manufacturing machines.
Machine Shop Equipment Used, Drill presses, milling machines, surface
grinders, lathes, boring mills, copy mills, single point grinders, shapers,
jig grinders, sink and wire EDM, blanchard grinders, MIG and TIG welders,
