Position: Process Engineer

1. Worked on relief devices attached to process vessels for nylon-66 chemicals like adiponitrile, hexamethylene diamine, adipic acid, cyclohexane, etc

2. Detailed Analysis of individual processes to calculate projected relief capacities and decide the validity of the installed relief devices by available capacity or area comparison on basis of API 521, 520(part 1 & 2) and 2000 for deviced previously designed using Siemens PS-PPM, Superchems.

3. Accomplished marked up corrections for existing PID’s as a part of process relief analysis

4. Re-validated designs for relief valves on liquid decanting tanks, heat exchangers (involved in both heating and cooling duties) and gas analyzer systems

5. Re-validated pilot operated relief vents for pressure vessels with low operating pressures

6. Re-validated rupture disks in combination with relief valves, also accomplished standalone rupture disks for liquid full equipments and high pressure calibration gas bottles
