Relevant Experience
* 2008-2011 In-Home Health Care : On a five-day a week/twenty-four hours a day basis, in the client’s
home in Laguna Niguel, I took care of the client, including cleaning, cooking, coordinating doctors’
appointments and meds, and arranging recreation.
* 2003-2008 Accent Care Home Health Care provider: I t raveled 100 miles per day to assist patients from
Temecula to San Diego County to Calimesa and provided personal care, errands, and light housekeeping.
* 1997-1998 Dr. Pernia’s Ear, Nose, and Throat office: I was office manager. Among other duties, I managed
p rescription requests, billed insurances, and made appointments. In the operating room, I assisted the
doctor in performing operations and procedures.
* 1994 Loving Options: I was assistant office manager in a pregnancy crisis center. My responsibilities
i ncluded giving pregnancy tests, counseling women on abortion options, answering phones, performing data
entry, ordering supplies, and helping with fundraisers.
* 1987-1993 Palm Terrace Convalescent Center: I was head CNA on the night shift. My duties included
auditing records, supervising CNA‘s, filling in when short-staffed, and preparing patients for the coroner. I
worked all three shifts.
* 1986 Hemet and Orange Tree Convalescent Centers: As a nurse’s assistant, I cleaned and made up
patients, bathed and fed patients, transported patients to activities, monitored their condition, remade
beds, and helped other NA’s as needed.
