CAREER QUALIFICATION:

Regarding for my current position as a Firefighter I work closely as part

of 25 firefighters assigned to multiple shifts. Maintain equipment such as

hoses and ladders and ensure availability of local water and access to

auxiliary sources such as fire hydrants and dedicated to saving the lives

of others and property. Able to work under pressure, efficiently,

hardworking, flexibility, dedication to duty, willingness to accept added

Locate fire in natural cover, structure or aircraft and isolates involved

or conflagrated area to prevent fire spreading and facilitate

extinguishing. Places equipment, lays hose lines, and operates apparatus

such as pumpers, nozzle, fire extinguishers and ladders. Employ standard

visual hand signals. Performing standby operation during hazardous

condition assigned in different location as per recommendation of hot works

permit issued by gas and safety inspector in an exemplary manner under very

difficult locations inside vessel tanks, fuel tank farm and other confined

space, other hazardous operation such as refueling, off loading fuel from

tanker ship at Petroleum Oil Lubricant (POL).Pier or Harbor areas.

Loading/Offloading of explosive ordinance or weapons handling activity is

to commence from aircraft and ammunition ship, high speed refueling/

defueling, high powered engine turn of aircraft. Enter and ventilates

aircraft, vehicle, buildings, and like structures to remove heat, smoke

gases, rescue personnel and extinguish fire by direct coverage methods.

Makes forced entry when required using portable power saws, portable

hydraulic metal cutters, ram, axes, sledges and bolt cutters. Rescue

personnel from structures or aircraft using ladders, ropes and nets.

Administer first-aid to individuals suffering from asphyxiation and other

physical injuries. Reduce water damage by making catch basin and drain

chutes. Maintains constant communication with firefighting vehicles and

other firefighters and other information passed through telephone, two-way

radios, fire alarm switchboards, control tower or by hand signal. Maintain

fire station log and records and other pertinent information. Performs

other duties as the Fire Chief or the Assistant Fire Chief or the Fire

Captain may direct.

WAREHOUSEMAN

Shipping/ Receiving Warehouse Operations

Maintains warehouse and storage spaces at an acceptable level by good

housekeeping practices. Incumbent is responsible for packing, crating,

bracing, and documentation of material/cargo and equipment for shipment off

the island, safeguarding of materials in storage/warehouse. Loads and

unloads material on truck or other conveyances. Move materials to and from

receiving, shipping and storage areas. Places incoming materials in bins,

racks, cages, bulk areas, and various warehouse/storage areas. Move

materials in warehouse/storage as necessary during reallocation of space.

Checks materials received against receipt document, compare material with

procurement specification, and determine cause of serviceability. Prepares

Report of Discrepancy (ROD) as required. Arrange storage facilities for

stock materials to facilitate issue, inventory, segregating by type of

class, within fire and safety protection to personnel, and preventing

deterioration and contaminating effects of cold, light, heat, moisture,

insects and vermin destruction of stock materials.
