TECH Project Title: “THE STUDY OF JOURNAL BEARING CONSIDERING VARIOUS CAVITATION CONDITION” Guide: Dr. Mihir Sarangi Project is aimed at the theoretical study of hydrodynamic bearing. Following are the main objectives of present work. Study of journal bearing with existing cavitation conditions like Reynolds and JFO cavitation condition. Theoretical formulation of viscosity governing equation in oil film to deal with the cavitation in the bearing and calculation of pressure field from viscosity variation. Validation of proposed cavitation model based on viscosity variation to that of available cavitation models. UNDER GRADUATION MAJOR PROJECT (at DRDO) B.TECH Project Title: “PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF LIQUID PROPELLANT ROCKET THRUST CHAMBER OF A SURFACE-TO-SURFACE MISSILE AND SIMULATION OF ITS FLIGHT PERFORMANCE” Guide: Dr. G. Raja Singh (Scientist “F”) Project is aimed at a preliminary design of a surface-to-surface missile made for specific thrust requirements. Simulation of its flight performance and trajectory is done using SIMULINK tool in MATLAB. MINI PROJECT (at AIR INDIA) Industrial Mini Project: “HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS AND LANDING GEAR OF AIRBUS A320 AT AIR INDIA, HYDERABAD” Visited Air India hanger and workshop. Observed various service checks done for aeroplanes.
