"Zigbee Based Preventive Maintenance Scheduler"

Abstract: The Project Zigbee Based Preventive Maintenance Scheduler is

intended to have a Proto type model of an automated system for the ease and

effectiveness of man. Preventive maintenance falls in three categories. Our

solution is intended to enhance this concern by clubbing time based,

performance based and condition based parameters.

"Monitoring & Control of Process Parameters in Pilot Plant with DCS

ABB 800F"

Abstract: The project Monitoring & Control of Process Parameters in Pilot

Plant with DCS ABB 800F deals with the study of pilot plant and implement a

process to control any one of the plant parameter such as level, flow,

temperature and pressure by accepting inputs from field, processing and

giving output back to field with the help of networking communication such

as Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus. The main objective of this project is to

control the level of cold water in the open tank by maintaining the hot

water flow using ratio controller and the level of the closed tank. "ABB

Freelance 800F DCS" is used to control and monitor the entire process.

. Presented a paper entitled " A novel dynamic voltage scaling algorithm

for low power FPGA system" at International Conference conducted by

SPCOM 2010 at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on July 2010.

. Presented a paper entitled " Hysteresis Controller Based Single-Phase

Shunt Active Filter for Input Current Shaping" at National Conference

conducted by

RTPEPS 2010, R.M.K. Engineering College.

. Have presented a paper entitled "Generation of Electricity using Speed

Breaker" and won 1st place in JAYARAM COLLEGE OF ENGG and TECH at

TRICHY, ALPHA ENGG COLLEGE, Chennai and JAYA ENGG COLLEGE Chennai.

. Have presented the same paper at SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGG, KOTAYAM,

KERALA, BHAJARANG ENGG COLLEGE and MEENAKSHI UNIVERSITY and won 2nd

place.

. Team leader for Chennai district FENCING team in State level Fencing

Championship during 2005-2006.

. Have led a six member team to do a Paper work for DRDO under the topic

"AUTOMATED ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE".

. State Player in FENCING; have won two BRONZE medals in state bouts and

3 BRONZE medals in district bouts.
