Project Synopsis :

Arqam is a full-fledged Multi-user and Multilanguage Financial Accounting. Package with modules like

System Manager, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Order, Sales

Order, Van sales, Point of Sales, Inventory, Payroll, Time Attendance. This project is developed

specifically for the Gulf region with Arabic Language support. The above-mentioned modules are directly

linked with General Ledger, which monitors all the transactions occurring through any module. Inventory

module offers different type of Costing Methods as well as it also supports multi warehousing system.

The main attraction of this software is user-defined reports and it’s toggling facility (English Arabic).

System is developed using Client-Server methodology with Client running on windows and the server

running an SQL Database on Windows NT/2000 Server. The above-mentioned modules are described

below :

Purchase Order

Arqam Purchase Orders is a complete purchase order processing system to help you keep track of

goods and services that you order for your company. It provides a variety of up-to-the –minute status

reports, so you can quickly check information about your vendors, inventory items, outstanding orders

and related business transactions.

Sales Order

Arqam Sales Order is a complete Order Entry System that enables Multiple user in your organization to

enter a fulfill sales orders. It keeps track of the goods and services that you sell to your customers, which

help you, keep on top of your inventory needs and pending obligations for any given period. The program

also provides a variety of reports, so that you can easily review your customer and sales order

information.

Inventory

Arqam Inventory Control is complete inventory maintenance and tracking system. Using Inventory

Control, you can keep track of the various items you purchase, manufacture and sell including the ability

to maintain lots and serial numbers. In addition, you can keep up-to-date information about various

locations where you store or process your inventory. Arqam Inventory Control’s wealth of reports and on-

line inquires enable you to accurately determine your inventory values and examine transactions

patterns.

Responsibility : I am responsible for sharing my Accounting Knowledge to Programmers and also

in Development of some of the above modules.

Some of the projects, which I developed as a freelancer, are: -

A) Title : Stock maintenance system

Client : Al hammad traders

Intranet technology:ASP.Net 3.5/4.0

Based on intranet,ths software was developed for a paint shop in order to keep him uptodate of his

available stock in his shop.this package provided him login screen for security feature to so that the

data is not tampered by trespassers it gives a detailed description of the products available in his

business as well as the rates of each products to keep him free of referring the ancient files for the

prices .the software used sql servor 2008R2 as its backend while the intranet technology was

ASP.NET this software was very much useful to track records of sale.items sold and item in stock

for his future reference to carry out his business….

B) Title : Attendance Management System

Based on intranet, this software was developed for keeping the school authorities as well as parents

to keep an uptodate record of his ward as to if he is attending his school or not..this proved really

helpful in management of school because it had provided all the authorities to the principal chamber

for entering the data of attendance on regular basis ..the principal had his login screen so as to no

one could make changes in it .this used the sql servor R2 as a backend for data storage Attendance

management system was very useful to keep track of students attending the classes.which proved

very effective…
