I currently work as a circulator/scrub nurse, for office procedures that
involve the use of endovenous radiofrequency ablation. This type of
procedure is a treatment option for the condition known as venous reflux
and/or venous insufficiency.
I have been a nurse for several years, which includes a strong background
in direct patient care. As you will see from my work history, I have
experience in various areas of nursing, including an extensive background
in ER/Trauma. From April 2008 until January 2011, I thoroughly enjoyed my
role as a circulator nurse, for the pain management team at North Central
Surgical Center. Our pain management cases accounted for 23% of the
center's patient census at that time. I played a vital role in maintaining
a consistent program; one in which our physicians had become accustomed to.
I have worked in the preoperative and post-operative settings as well. I
