DESCRIPTION:
Customer data management (CDM) is a reliable source of information for
all Humana IT applications and
endconsumers with 360 degrees view of information on Humana plan
members and non-members.
The CDM is the authoritative source for the following subject
areas:
- mastered person demographics,
- preferences,
- contact information,
- the products,
- services and programs they enrolled in, information on
relationships that persons have
with other persons and organizations
CONTRIBUTION:
Design ETL mappings by using Informatica.
Prepare the ETL Specifications for business logic's
Developing Informatica workflows as per business needs.

Description:
BLADM (Benefit Loss Analysis Data Mart) has been developing to
consolidate data from different sources mainly medical underwriting,
premiums and claims. MetLife is selling different products in the
insurance for individual and group. BLADM data mart is building to
read data related to life insurance and disability insurance in group
insurance. MetLife using different applications for processing,
medical underwriting, premium and claims those applications generating
lot of data and storing in the database. MetLife also getting some of
the data related to payments from different agents and third party
collaborated companies.
BLADM consolidates data related to cases, policies,
coverage, insured, dependents, and premiums and claims so that MetLife
can easily generate different kinds for reports, score cards,
dashboards to support current business and for decision making.
Project Responsibilities:
> Developed the informatics mappings for loading data into stage and
data mart.
> Loaded the Initial data for two years.
> Used connections as parameters, reusable configuration object to
provide flexibility and improve productivity.
> Created workflow using different tasks like session, event wait,
event raise, command, email and decision with sequential and
parallel flows considering dependency and load balancing.
> Created and Imported/Exported various Sources, Targets, and
Transformations using Informatica Power Center Designer.
> Developed number of Complex Informatica Mappings, Mapplets and
Reusable Transformations for the Sales and Marketing Systems to
facilitate one time, Daily, Monthly and Yearly Loading of Data.
> Designed and developed complex Aggregate, Join, Router, Look up and
Update transformation rules (business rules).
> Developed schedules to automate the update processes and
Informatica Sessions/Batches.
> Involved into Source Code Reviews.
> Done the unit testing for validating the data to meet Business
requirements.
