RE: Position Available - Production Supervisor/Manager
I am a 34 year veteran of a tank car manufacturing facility which has
closed its doors as of June, 2008. During this time I improved both the
physical production process and the quality of the workforce that executed
that production. I desire quality in all I do and am confident in my
ability and knowledge of Fabrication and Manufacturing process.
Over the years I have become well-versed and obtained an overall knowledge
of the steel industry.
Through my efforts, both as a leader and as a team player, my previous
employer saved millions of dollars as a result of the projects I initiated
and participated in.
If you are contemplating changes or experimentation in any of your
manufacturing methods, I am a person who can plan the project, implement
it, and interpret the results in a straight-forward manner. I can make all
involved aware of the goals and understand results obtained, good or bad.
I believe that only in this manner can a production project be successfully
completed.
I played a lead role in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing at Union
Tank Car that brought many cost savings to our shop. Our shop was
unionized and I am well-versed in Discipline and Termination Law. Please
see my resume attached for a further list of achievements.
Sincerely,
Mike Sekulovski
