skin checks on my patients. For my hospice patients, I assisted in keeping
them as comfortable as possible during their end of life through medication
administration, comfort, patience, and advocating for them. As a nursing
student, I've started an IV on several of my patients, assisted with a NG
tube placement, taken care of patients on telemetry, had patients with
chest tubes, inserted foley catheters in males and females, etc. I feel
that my experience as a LPN and nursing student has benefited me by giving
me confidence in doing skills.
