profitable dealer network and followed through with pricing, promotions and
advertising programs for a U.S. manufacturer (White Consolidated-Gibson)
and, in addition, created a marketing program for a Brazilian manufacturer.
Due to the above exposure, I was able to sell direct container loads of
merchandise to the New York Metro area dealers.

Headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois, acted as an account representative
for Monroe and Dade counties in Florida. Sold local buyers and serviced
the local store locations with product knowledge, details on advertising
programs and effective public relations. The account list consisted of
exporters, independent Eureka dealers/service centers, as well as various
national accounts. Included in the client list were such national companies
as Burdines, J. Byrons, Service Merchandise, K-Mart, Luria's and Firestone.
In 1979 I opened 36 new accounts and placed #1 in the nation as a direct
result of the substantial increase in the sales volume of my territory.

My initial exposure to the "fast food" industry started with a training
program covering all pertinent phases of operation. Starting as a trainee,
I advanced to manager of the head office location for Scott's. My
experience led to a position of "trouble-shooter" for the Vice President of
Operations within Dade County and Orlando, Florida.

General Manager and minority owner. This being a new restaurant and
lounge, I was involved from basic concept through the construction and
grand opening. In addition, I became very involved in the promotion of
this new club due to its close proximity to the new home of the Giant's
football team. The Giant's Roost was sold at a substantial profit once the
New York Giant's officially made the Meadowlands Sporting Complex their
home field.
