Description :

This project resulted in the materialization of a web based application called KMC Application. This

application computerized the various departments and offices of the KMC. KMC Application is a

collection of modules representing various departments like HR, License, PF, Collection etc. Many

modules have been developed and successfully implemented and still many more are being developed.

This Application is based on Struts Framework which is basically a MVC 2 Frame Work with JSPs,

HTML as View Component, Servlets as the Controller and Simple Java Classes, EJBs are used as the

business model. The EJBs have been used basically for Transaction Management.

Error handling framework is also used to handle various errors that may arise in between.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the SRS and Requirement gathering

• Mapping requirement into modules

• Accordingly developing the new Screens, classes.

• Thoroughly testing the developed screens, classes.

• Deploying/Undeploying the developed screens, classes on the test server.

• Fixing the bugs, errors if found any.

• Providing the production support at the client side when the module goes live/implemented.
