compounds in pharma industry) related projects involving synthesis, process develop-
ment, Technical transfer lab to plant and analysis of organic compounds.

Proficient in performing cryogenic reactions, Glove-box handling of air and moisture
sensitive reagents and reactions.
Efficient in carrying out organic transformations on milligram to multigram scale.
Efficient in carrying out organic transformations Lab scale to Plant scale.
Educated in purification techniques such as distillation, crystallization, sublimation,
column chromatography and HPLC.
Competent in characterization of organic compounds using spectroscopic techniques
such as 1H and 13C NMR, 2-D NMR (COSY, NOESY),IR and Mass.
Confident user of GC (Shimadzu), UV (Shimadzu and JASCO), IR (Perkin-Elmer 1310
IR, JASCO FT-IR 8300), polarimeter (JASCO-DIP 370), NMR (Bruker AV-400,
Varian-400Hz) and M. P. apparatus (Büchi B-540).
Good experience in searching the various scientific databases using Scifinder Scholar,
Beilstein, Reaxys and ISI Web of knowledge.
Well versed with word processor software both on Windows and Macintosh platforms,
and various chemistry related software packages e.g. Chem Draw, ISIS draw, i -NMR,
