Draft and check construction drawings, topographical profiles and related maps and specifications used in projects containing steel reinforcements. Perform steel detailing based on architectural plans. Calculate and draw steel detailing. Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications and other data to determine requirements. Compute and determine amounts and types of steel that will be required.
Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental eng or closely related major.
