The project is an elevated roadway, comprising of 2203 match cast bridge
segments.
The Precast site is 80,000 m2, with a purpose built undercover and enclosed
facility which is almost 11,000 m2.
As Project Manager I was responsible for all aspects of management of the
precast facility including-
> The precast facility construction and site establishment.
> Management of all personnel on site, including contractors.
> Management of Site safety, the development of TRA's, training and
personnel development.
> Contract - negotiation and management.
> Precast product quality to ensure product meets the client's
expectations.
> The establishment and management of the Production schedules / casting
program.
> Industrial Relations - direct and indirect labor including liaising
with unions.
> Project measurable including costs and budgeting (FCTC).

The project was an elevated roadway, comprising of 436 match cast bridge
segments over the gateway freeway in Brisbane near the Brisbane Airport.
Responsible for all aspect of the management of the precast facility
including-
> The precast facility construction and site establishment.
> Management of all personnel on site.
> Management of Site safety
> Product quality and production.
> Precast Casting programs.
> Industrial Relations - direct and indirect labor including liaising
with unions.
> Precast project measurable including costs and budgeting (FCTC).
> Site demobilization.

Responsible for the site coordination of contractors for the construction
of greenfield sites and completing facility upgrades throughout Australia.
> Management of contract resources on site.
> Generation and completion of QA documentation for work

Mitcham Region - East link Project
Mitcham Region until the end of April 2008 completing a variety of works
including;
> Management of Contractors, landscaping, earth works & concreting
for all area's off the freeway alignment in the Mitcham region.
> Resource and organize suitable materials for specific
requirements, top soils, irrigation systems, drainage.
> Coordination of all TJH employees and Subcontract labor in my
area of responsibility.
> Responsible for OH&S, JSA reviews, risk assessments, ensure pre
start meetings were conducted daily.
> Responsible for the establishment and demobilization of employee
facilities, offices and compounds.
> Organization of resources, cranes, transport, earth moving
equipment.

Management of completion works carried at the Precast Facility including:
> The handover of the facility back to the owners including all
restoration works.
> Completion of remedial work on all products in the yard,
including the installation of bearing plates, scaffolding & void
covers on the Super T beams.
> Organization of resources in the yard including cranes,
transport, personnel and contractors.
> Responsible for the financial performance of the yard (FCTC),
reviewed on a monthly basis with senior management.

Parapets
> Responsible for the remedial repairs to Super T beams & Parapets

Responsible for the Concrete Operations in the Melbourne South East
including the reliability, efficiency and bottom line performance of the
Concrete Plants.
My responsibilities include Personal development for all employees,
training, OH&S and the coordination of resources to ensure efficient day to
day running of the Concrete Operations.

(Brisbane - Bribie Island) including the reliability, efficiency and
bottom line performance of the Concrete Plants and Concrete Transport.

> Responsibilities included Concrete Operations and the Transport
Division with in the Metro region.
> Total accountability for the bottom line performance of assets within
the Adelaide Metro business this included, plant operating costs, cost
of quality, transport operational costs.
