GENERATOR AND GENERATOR TRANSFORMER
Description: The main objective of this project is explain different protection schemes of generator
and generator transformer unit at stage-II Vijayawada thermal power station, Vijayawada.
Electrical energy management involves inclusion of “Protection Schemes” for security of power
station.
As the demand increases a capacity of generator has to be increased by that the need for protection is
more pronounced. Keeping this is view the study of generator and its transformer includes all
type of protection schemes that are employed in stage-II, VTPS.
