Dear Maria Yushinsky/Executive Assistant:
Please accept the attached resume for the Museum Marketing Associate listed on your web site. The responsibilities you posted parallels my interests and qualifications very closely. I have had the pleasure of working for several successful and well established galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Working in the art market for ten years has been a wonderful experience and I would like to continue and expand my diverse work experience in southern California. I believe that my strongest attributes have been my ability to work with people and businesses. I also have the experience of marketing with several national magazines around the country such as American Art Collector, Southwest Art and Western Art Collector.
My knowledge in art and advertising has been a major component of my experience. I have many clients and advertisers that have followed me in my endeavors throughout my career. In the businesses where I have been employed I have taken the initiative to excel in all operational, financial and marketing fields. Over this time I have developed excellent organizational, written and communication skills. I believe in proven teamwork abilities with a strong commitment to ethical and professional standards.
I have successfully managed a variety of projects and been able to solve them in creative ways while meeting all deadlines. The projects have ranged from advertising with national magazines, creating and having exhibitions for artists while meeting all sales goals. In my previous work experience I have enjoyed learning and executing all aspects of running a business. I also believe that while at work there should be a level of decorum and professionalism that I have developed through my career. I would appreciate an opportunity to make a contribution to the museum. I hope to meet with you to further to discuss my candidacy.
I would like to thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely,
Jacob Martinez
