Work History
I worked thirty five years for one company, Stock Building Supply/ Terry
Lumber Company.
I started Part- Time and during the summer season in June 1972 while
attending college. My career escalated to Full Time and Permanent on
November 2, 1977. I was promoted from Customer Service Associate, Load
Builder, Forklift Operator, Driver, Sales Associate, Sales Manager, and
Promoted to Location Manager in September 1981. My responsibilities were
all encompassing. I managed twenty to thirty Associates, interviewed job
candidates and made staff decisions. I was responsible for balancing Daily
Cash and Bank Deposits. I managed Sales Managers, Operations Managers,
Accounting Managers, and Door & Window Managers. We assigned associates to
specific duties to best achieve the Store Goals.
I was employed by one company for thirty five years of employment, and
forty years in association with the same company. Stock Building Supply
purchased Terry Lumber Company, a third generation Company, in January
2000.
I am assertively seeking a full time and permanent position with an
