I am writing in response to a recent audio engineer opportunity at the fountain of life church. I currently work for multiple production companies and have lots of experience as an audio engineer. My strength and passion is in audio engineering and I am proficient in most types of A/V software and hardware.
Your ad in which I received stated that you are interested in someone who has experience with front of house as well as monitor mixing. I have extensive experience in both and currently operate the front of house mix as well as the monitors at a live event every Monday. I have both a degree and real world experience in audio engineering and believe I would be a great asset to your team.
I am very interested in scheduling an interview to meet you in person, to learn more about your employment needs, and to share more about my experience and background with you.
My references are listed as reference letters and are the three last pages of this document. They are not all addressed to your church but are current.
Sincerely,
Joe Schofield

To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Joe Schoefield. Joe has worked as a freelance sound person for Monday Night Live at Petterino’s, a show I produce for the restaurant.
Since Joe joined the team two year ago we have found him to be incredibly hardworking, professional, good-natured and always willing to go the extra mile. In addition to his regular duties, Joe has stepped in on numerous occasions to help with items not in his job description have arisen to help solve the problem. Examples of this include:
1. His traveling home to get his sound system when the Petterino’s sound system was engaged for another event with no advance communication to Joe
2. Bringing his sound system “just in case” on a weekly basis to ensure we are covered
3. Fixing the pedal on the electronic keyboard when it fell off during a show
4. Adjusting the house lighting system for special requests, i.e. media photographers, etc.
Joe also assisted on a special event at the restaurant which included a cabaret show and dancing in a supper club setting. He worked tirelessly with the additional tech crews brought in for that event to ensure its success.
I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a skilled sound technician.
Sincerely,
Denise McGowan Tracy
