• Coordinates all imports and exports, ship different Finished Goods, Bulk, Intermediate
Products, product samples and other materials to different BASF subsidiaries and/or
affiliates, in compliance with the different Corporate and Government Regulations (such
as Customs, FIFRA, DOT, IATA, IMDG and Dangerous Goods regulations, and others)
and International Regulations (ICAO, etc.).
• Shipping and receiving areas as well as all Transportation areas.
• Coordinate the US Customs imports entries in conjunction with US brokers, and act as
the plant liaison with US Customs. Generates all customs and government documents.
• Coordinates international and domestic shipments with maritime companies.
• Enters all shipping information in SAP system, generates and follows up on requisitions
in SAP System.
• Works with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and bar-coding system.
• Administers Federal Express, DHL and UPS accounts.
• Organizes filing of warehouse documentation, handles telephone communications, and
responsible for warehouse general correspondence, and miscellaneous duties.
• Negotiates for maritime and air shipment rate quotations.
• Provide technical support to the areas in the packaging preparation for such material to
ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in the company forecast, sales.
• Codify all invoices for payment and maintain a program for all paid invoices.
