Role:

. Minimising performance bottlenecks for high productivity by ensuring

safety, product quality, customer satisfaction, timely delivery, costs

and environment

. Appraising the prevalent production systems / processes, identifying

loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for alleviating

them and documenting the same

. Developing processes to ensure smooth establishment of product

commercially

. Developing Quality Control by monitoring incoming, in-process and final

inspection of procedures

Significant Accomplishments:

. Shaped arrangements to machine the journel of dryer cylinders in the site

itself and made them to run in anti-friction bearings in the place of the

original bush bearings in Cholan Paper mills

. Dexterously performed alterations in:

o Felt circuit of the glazing felt in Shreenivasa Paper Mills and

increased the life of the ribbed felt from 50 tons to 300 tons and

also increased the machine production from 3 TPD to 10 TPD

o General Assembly of the paper machine and commissioning in the

Meredian Paper Mills and made it to produce 60 TPD

o Gland leakage in the blow tank agitater which lead to the machine

stoppage of about three hours in the alternate days in Aurangabad

Paper Mills was corrected and the stoppage was avoided.

. Modified and made alterations in the paper machine for Shri Shrinivas

paper mill to increase the speed from 180 mpm to 305 mpm and there by

increased the production from 12 TPD to 25 TPD

. Renovated all the three paper machines in the Karthikeya Paper mills,

Sathyamangalam and commissioned all the three machines and the machine

are producing 40 TPD, 15 TPD and 30 TPD respectively
