INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (2010-2012)

* Served as an integral member of a relatively new Inside Sales team by steadily increasing sales to independent and small chain retailers through daily calls, e-mail blasts, mailings, showroom appointments, trade shows and occasional store visits.

* Initiated, networked and developed relationships with buyers from off-price retail chains, wholesale liquidators, discount stores and closeout businesses, in an effort to create a customer base for reducing both discontinued and excess inventory. These companies included Big Lots, Tuesday Morning Stores, Marmaxx (TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods) and Ross Stores.

* Collaborated with Sales Team in successfully reducing discontinued and excess inventory by nearly 10 million dollars following the company merger.

* Created and distributed monthly discontinued and excess inventory presentations and pricing to inside and outside sales teams, as well as to key retailers and wholesalers.

* Coordinated sales materials and samples for key presentations.

* Traveled to major trade shows, other company offices and to key retailers and wholesalers when necessary, to present and close major deals.
