I am working for a mid-size Courier Company located in Central New Jersey. I run the entire operations, which includes Dispatching, Sales & Adminsitration, Warehousing and I am also accountable for (30) owner operators and outside agents. I am also responsible for the P & L, and have direct reports from the Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and Warehouse Manager. I also oversee all major accounts in the Tri-State area. I handle all rate negotiations with owner operators, vendors & agents, and I also assist with the Sales team in trying to bring in new business.

I worked for a small domestic/international Freight Forwarding company located in Northern New Jersey with annual gross sales of nine million. I ran the operations and accounting department, with direct reports from the Operations manager, Warehouse Manager, Bookkeeper, Payroll manager and Administrative Manager. My major responsibilities included hiring, rate negotiations with all our domestic LTL/FTL carriers, Commercial airline carriers, Air cargo carriers, local/non-local agents, as well as our domestic and international integrators. I also made sure we were TSA compliant whenever the TSA implemented new rules and regulations. I was very active in the accounting department and approved all invoices for accounts payable.
