Senior Area Business Manager (Knoxville, Tri-Cities, Nashville & Chattanooga, TN). Initially recruited as District Sales Manager to prepare for the new product launch of MoxDuo IR (combination opioid pain medication) contingent upon FDA approval; following the FDA denial of the product introduction, was selected as one of only two employees to be retained as Senior Area Business Managers (out of 127 qualified candidates) to sell Kadian (time released morphine pain medication) to hospitals, anesthesiologists, pain management, orthopedic surgeons, neuro-spine, and oncologists.
* Implemented aggressive sales efforts that turned around the underperforming East and Middle Tennessee territory from the lowest ranked in the United States to a #2 national ranking in overall sales growth with Kadian.
* Generated $1.56 million in Kadian sales in only six months, in a market segment with extensive generic competition, and achieved 90% month over month sales growth with a total of $2.5 million in sales for 2012.
