Objective
An efficient ally among other healthcare providers within the hospital's emergency department working as a team toward excellence in prehospital patient care. To secure a full time position that will enable me to utilize my skills and work experiences as healthcare professional.
Work Experience
Troubleshooting and supervising within the ambulance service as a Deputy Head to the company with hands-on patient care in prehospital setting. Spent most of the time into the advantage of volunteerism including prehospital care in the ambulance service which contribute as a very useful adjunct for the medical emergencies encountered in private dental practice. Patient load in volunteerism is much quite larger than usual and able to handle more or less 100 patients per day and expectedly had a wide range of cases to hone my skills.
Working with flexibility to various institutions with the same goal on health missions since 2001. Agile to any medical responsibilities given in accordance to continuing education based on the promotion of organization s program. Adaptive in each culture, foreign delegates and environment to every designated setting in the archipelago.

EMT DEFIBRILLATION
1. To monitor and assist the offloading of the patients brought by the ambulances/private vehicles and assist in the transfer patient to the Emergency Room Triage Area. For unstable patients, start initial emergency assessment, initiate BLS intervention and immediately notify the Emergency Physician.
2. Assist the Emergency Physician in the overall patient assessment such as collecting personal details, symptoms analysis of the patients primary complaint by performing an objective survey and indicated and according to the presenting subjective data which include vital signs of all patients.
3. Assist the Emergency Physician in providing immediate intervention in strict accordance with the specified professional limitations as outlined by the Philippine Society of Emergency Medical Technicians.
4. Assist the Emergency Physician in escorting severely ill/critically injured patient to the acute area or to other designated areas.
5. Assist the Emergency Physician in carrying out the Primary Survey and Secondary Survey of patients according to life threatening conditions and following the accepted protocols of Triage in the Emergency Department.
6. Assist the Emergency Physician in establishing efficient patient flow within the Emergency Department, continuing awareness of patients arriving and maintaining crowd control in the Emergency Department Triage Area.
7. Can safely and effectively defibrillate cardiac arrest patient and function as a member of the cardiac arrest team under the supervision of the Emergency Physician.
8. Using a cardiac monitor and be capable of recognizing Ventricular Fibrillation and Pulseless Ventricular Tachycardia.
9. Can safely and effectively operate manual defibrillator.
10. Can initiate post resuscitative care for all patients.
11. Can effectively work as a member of the hospital cardiac arrest team.
EMT BASIC
1. Carry out scene surveys to establish access, egress in the first stage of patient assessment.
2. Carry out primary and secondary survey of patients with the view to arriving at a provisional diagnosis.
3. Base upon the provisional diagnosis, accurately define the transport priority of patients and formulate a priority based treatment plan.
4. Established and maintain an open airway using methods and provide adequate pulmonary ventilation.
5. Perform, to a high level of competence, basic life support for adult, child, infant and neonate.
6. Deal with partial and complete airway obstruction in the adult, child infants.
7. Control external hemorrhage.
8. Treat hypoperfusion (Clinical Shock).
9. Manage poisoning cases.
10. Manage multiple casualty incidents.
11. Dress and bandage wounds and other soft tissue injuries.
12. Splint/Immobilize fracture of all types.
13. Carry out emergency deliveries of babies and care for both mother and baby.
14. Treat obstetric emergencies.
15. Treat medical emergencies.
16. Treat traumatic injuries.
17. Cope and psychological stresses on the patient, relatives EMS/Rescue personnel and oneself.
18. Be capable of taking leadership role at any all incidents.
19. Complete verbal and written communications.
20. Be highly skilled and driving ambulance vehicles defensive emergency.
21. Carry out procedures for the checking and maintenance of the ambulance vehicles and equipment.
22. Have a complete understanding of medico-legal and ethical issues.
23. Be skilled at interaction with other emergency services.
Emergency Department (E.R. Triage)
1. Monitors the arrival of the patients in the emergency room.
2. Carry out a primary evaluation of a patient awaiting the triage in order to identify those patients who are immediately life threatening or in serious condition and therefore require priority attention.
3. Carry out a symptoms and analysis of the patient s complaint by performing an objective data collection as indicated and according to presenting subjective data.
4. Measure vital signs of all patients including weight (SI) for all pediatric patients or when appropriate as per protocol.
5. Initiate the patient record, documenting subjective and objective information.
6. Document any allergies relevant post medical history, medication, last menstrual period and obstetrical history.
7. Categorize, assign and direct patient to appropriate designated treatment or to waiting area.
8. Provide or report to the appropriate nurse assigned to the patient. If the patient is category/priority I and II also gives report to the emergency physician.
9. Remains aware of the overall patient flow within the emergency department and assist in maintaining crowd control.
