Trained in TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention): I was trained in TCI at Desert Hills, a youth treatment facility. I worked as a counselor on an aggression and substance abuse unit with kids and teens ages 6- 18.I'm very experienced in verbal de-escalation.
7 years' experience in child care/ child development: I worked one year at El Ranchito De Los Ninos, a children's home housing up to 16 kids. (worked closely with CYFD and worked 6 months for YFCS) I also worked 2 years as a nanny for two small kids during high school.
Licensed Mixed Martial Arts Promoter/Fighter (by the NM state athletic commission): I run a youth boxing/kick boxing program for kids ages 5-17 in our community.
Great at coordinating large events, fundraisers, etc: I have organized fundraisers such as car washes, bake sales, raffles etc, as well as large events like MMA fight events, car shows, concerts, plays, large parties, haunted houses, rodeos etc.
2 Years management experience (at Perez Fighting Systems 809 Bernard St Belen) I am the owner and manager of a Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness academy. I run the entire gym and office, I do my own taxes, filing,copies,contracts etc. I meet with owners and managers of businesses all over Valencia county to
arrange sponsorships for kids from low income families. I have tons of experience dealing with customers. I work closely with the kids as well as with the parents. I have great leadership skills, and organize my volunteers & staff for classes as well as larger events.
Experience in fitness training and weight management for kids and adults: I am a health and wellness coach. I sell Herbalife products as well as run a kickboxing aerobics class for overweight kids and adults.
Very familiar with a computer, fax machine, copy machine, etc: I do all my own office work. I am expeirinced in making web sites, banners, business cards, contracts, and advertisements.
