processes in the Office of Chief Counsel.

Analyst I, two Legal Assistant 2's, one Management Technician, and
three Clerk Typist III's in support of attorney, paralegal and analyst
legal work.
. Review high profile, high dollar litigation reports as directed by
attorneys. Ensure that proper procedures. Ensure that proper
procedures were followed by taxpayer and forward documentation to
appropriate offices as needed. Review tax systems, OCC/RAPS, and
LawNet to obtain information about the case. Input and update
taxpayer and case information from pleadings and other legal documents
to LawNet so it could be viewed and used by parties in the litigation
such as other agencies.

Counsel to submit to the Governor's Office of General Counsel on a
quarterly basis.

. Serve as a liaison with the Office of Attorney General for Tax
Litigation Matters. I developed and currently maintain a program
whereby the Department responds to various OAG requests during ongoing
litigation. The aforementioned involves monitoring a case from the
time an appeal has been filed with Commonwealth Court, or the Supreme
Court, collecting/organizing data, and coordinating efforts between
various departments and agencies.
. Solicit information from Office of General Counsel Deputy Chief
Counsels, cull out timely and important issues, and prepare/submit
data to the Chief Counsel for review, comment, and presentation.
. Coordinate the public calendar for the Chief Counsel.
. Oversee the attorney evaluation (APECS) process for all attorneys in
the Department of Revenue's Office of Chief Counsel.
. Function as Assistant to the Chief Counsel.
. Responsible for the creation and preparation of an E-LMS training
module detailing the OAG Tax Appeals Process.
. Proficient at completing in-depth research of the Department's tax
systems, including but not limited to: Sales Tax, Employer
Withholding, Motor Fuels, Corporation Tax, and Inheritance Tax.
