Recruited in 2003 as the Senior Lender for two divisions. Managed existing
portfolio of approximately $15MM, generated $10MM in new business. Promoted
in 2005 to Senior Credit Officer and Chief Credit Officer in 2006).
Responsible for credit function of a one billion dollar community bank,
including credit policy, portfolio management, liaison with state and
federal regulators, and working with Division Presidents and lenders.
Direct reports include Credit Department including loan department and
appraisal area. Chairman of the Credit Committee, member of ALCO and Audit
Committees.
Accomplishments included the following:
. Revision of General and Real Estate Loan Policies.
. Development and implementation of "exception codes" to track and
analyze policy and regulatory exceptions.
. Creation of new Loan Approval Forms to improve and develop consistency
in underwriting.
. Consumer Pricing Matrix to improve consistency in pricing, compensate
the bank for risk and increase net interest margin.
. Review system of criticized/classified assets; saw a 14% percent
reduction in problem assets.

Called on middle market companies ($20MM to $(500MM) both in state and
regionally that included a cross section of industries, including retail,
lumber, manufacturing and shipbuilding. Originated various types of credit
facilities and financing including asset based revolvers, equipment and
plant financing, rolling stock and specialized vessels. Worked extensively
with Treasury Management, Trust and Capital Markets. Won "MVP" award for
three successive years for business development and numerous credit quality
citations.

1989
Recruited to "turn around" a "de novo" bank operating under a "Memorandum"
with Federal and State Regulators. Developed and implemented credit review
program and loan, liquidity and investment policies. Reduced classified
assets by 35%, overhead by 14% and increased fee income by 18% and earned a
profit from operations within seventeen months. Company was subsequently
sold at a profit to shareholders.

Company and banking career at the First National Bank of Commerce, New
Orleans, LA as a Senior Credit Analysts; account officer in Metro Accounts.
