National Aquatic Resources Research & Development Agency (NARA). (02/01/2007 – 16/07/2012)

NARA is a leading research organization which handles the responsibility of management and sustainable utilization of inland aquatic resources, carrying out research towards management, development and conservation of marine living resources, carry research to ascertain and improve post harvest technology applicable to aquatic resources, development of fishing industry and many other researches. The Information Technology Division provides an IT platform for information gathering, processing, sharing and dissemination among all stakeholders for management, conservation and development of aquatic resources. The Division develops computer applications; provide Internet services, system support and training in computer applications. The Division is host to local and regional level databases on aquatic resources and provides links to other institutions involved in aquatic resources research.

• Web Application Tester - Responsibilities (Overall) § Verifying and maintaining the NARA web site to expected quality § Identify new functionalities and prepare test cases. § Execute functional test cases and regression suite § Defect management. § Work as an IT support engineer.
