Selected Projects Activities
San Manuel Village & Cultural Center Highland, California
A $30 million facility for San Manuel Band. As Project Manager for
Dinner/Theater, I was responsible for full architectural services including
directing the course of the project, space planning, construction documents,
scheduling, coordinating the activities of team members, consultants and
special consultants (total of 11), obtaining the City of Highland approval,
preparation of specifications, and bid documents.
Islands Restaurants, Carl's Jr., Lucky's, Sav-on Drugs & Albertsons Mira
Mesa, Los Angeles, San Diego, California
Project Manager for one new structure and two tenant improvement projects.
Responsibilities included: undertaking necessary management activities needed
to fulfill each projects' quality and time objectives. Additional
responsibilities included obtaining client's approval on a day-to-day basis,
planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating with other consultants,
obtaining all required approvals, management of contract documents, preparation
of addenda, bulletins, review of shop drawings, response to RFIs, and
preparation of project close-out documents.
Goulding Park Leisure Center North York, Ontario
A $6 million addition and expansion to an existing Ice-Rink facility. The new
facility housed multifunction gymnasium, workshop, art and craft, 300 person
capacity swimming pool, and annex facilities. As Project Manager with Simon
Davis Architects, responsibilities included day-to-day client relationship and
communication from initial effort through the entire course of the project. I
was responsible for users' meetings, decisions pertaining to concept, cost and
schedule, coordination of fellow team members' activities, consultants, and
other concerned with the project including community meeting. I was also
involved in participating to obtain necessary agency reviews.
Tlemcen International Airport Paris, France
Project Designer and Team Leader for schematic design and design development of
Tlemcen International Airport. Responsibilities included feasibility study,
review of international aviation requirements, programming, site selection,
users' meetings, decisions pertaining to concept, cost and schedule, government
agencies review, coordination of special consultants, selection of materials,
and other related issues.
200-Bed General Hospital Paris, France
Project Designer and Team Leader for schematic design and design development
for a 200 bed general hospital in Al Djailan, Saudi Arabia. The 10 acre site
housed a 200 bed hospital facility including outpatient services, emergency,
radiology, surgery, intensive care units, nuclear medicine, pathology and
laboratories, neonatal intensive care stations, maternal healthcare services,
pharmacy and medical offices for family practice, cardiology, pediatrics,
ophthalmology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine,
orthopedics, psychiatry oncology/hematology with chemotherapy infusion,
administrative area, staff facilities, and visitor's center. As Project Manager
with the N.C.E., responsibilities included directing the project throughout its
various phases, managing the architectural team and consultants' activities,
providing technical leadership, acquisition of government services approval as
well as project's progress, schedule and budget.
