Oil and Water

Government regulators and oil executives should never have been allowed to meet in private to discuss ways of getting around the laws enacted to protect everyone.

Now we see that the oil in the gulf will not just mix.It is killing everything living in or near the water.

The people charged with enforcement and oversite should be brought up on charges of gross negligence.

Could it be that King George,Dick, and Karl, gave the green light to the right people to just trust that this could not happen

Even a small business has to have some plan for dealing with the unknown. Why not BP

Tim Ballard

Easy Does IT

The Jeff Jones Show Episode #1

This is one of the finest musical efforts I have heard from any independent artist in over 40 years. Easy does it does it for me. This production has been recorded and mastered to the highest standards available with today s technology. Tim s mellow voice puts me in mind of the great male vocalists of who have given renditions of the great American songbook. Listen for just a minute and you hear the influences of the musical standard bearers that shaped Tim s own original approach to Jazz and pop standards. The choice of tunes gives the album a unique credibility seldom achieved by today s artists. Rich orchestrations played in an impeccable manner support Tim s rich full tone as he glides effortlessly over some of the most demanding charts ever written by our finest composers. Songs such as; Midnight Sun, Don t Misunderstand, and Angel Eyes bring back memories of a time when vocalists spoke to the heart of life with style and grace. I highly recommend this very attractive album.

TIM BALLARD

(1948-2009) was a jazz master (vocal, saxophone, piano) whose career spanned four decades and who entertained audiences on a countless volume of music in many genres, including classic jazz, smooth jazz, soul, R&B (including Motown), rock, and timeless standards. A 15-year veteran of the Las Vegas music scene, Tim's name graced many major hotel and casino billboards, such as Bally's, Mandalay Bay, Caesar's Palace, the Bellagio, Flamingo Hilton, the historic Desert Inn, and the MGM Grand. Tim was also the mainstage draw at the former Hotel San Remo for the majority of those years. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1992, Tim's music was an integral part of the Dallas jazz scene for over a decade, allowing him to collaborate with producer Dave Zoller and great jazz pianist and trombonist Randy Wensel. Tim also owned and operated his own successful jazz nightclub, 'Tim Ballard's', and featured local jazz combos, smooth artists, vocalists, and it was there that he even fronted a 17-piece big band as vocalist himself. Finally, Tim was also voted Best Jazz Vocalist for several years' running in the 'Spotlight Magazine' reader's poll and was featured on the cover of the prominent jazz magazine 'Texas Jazz'. He released two albums, 'Singing Positive to the People' (1978) and 'Easy Does It' (1991 2007 reissue), the latter of which is available for sale on this site. Tim sadly lost his battle with lung cancer and lymphoma, and passed away peacefully on June 8, 2009 in Dallas; however, his memory and music live on through TIMKAT.

Banker's Trust Cheats Proctor & Gamble

Who's Afraid of Brooksley Born

Greenspan,Summers,Geitner, and Paulson are gambling still with the people's money.

She warned as chair of CFCC that toxic assets could ruin the economy in the beginning of the Clinton years.

The big boys told her not to worry her pretty little head about things she could not understand.

Just Hush.

They shut her up

hey shut her down.

If a large corporation like Proctor & Gamble could get fooled by Banker's Trust tricks, what chance does the average consumer have

I think that grandma could run the federal reserve better than the current crew.

Our economy will never recover with the same group of All Male...All White..

power brokers in place.

Remove them or go the way of ancient Rome.

The Credit Card Industry

Get ripped off for only 2%

Did you know that Andy Kahr and the smart men of banking have placed landmines in the path of your financial success.

They universal default rules that say if you miss a payment with any company,no matter if it is not related to the business you have with their company your interset rate can go from 2% to 29%.

Making a mistake on a check has a fee of $35.00.

The companies are betting that comsumers will only pay the minimum charge on their credit card purchases.

If you pay only the minimum on the loan,it will take 35 years to pay off because of the interest rate.

They are betting that we will not read the contract

nd they are right.

We bailout these crooks.

Now we should all pick a date and time to hold the payments on cards all at once.

In one day we could bring them to their knees.

UNFAIR LENDING! HOLD THE PAYMENT!

Description:

Biography:

My friends,

I am truly happy about an opportunity to share my work with you.

I was born in a family of musicians and could not avoid musical education even if I wanted but soon appreciated the divine gift that my parents gave me. I have been surrounded by beautiful music from around the world all my life and the music standards for me were set very high. True music does not know time nor country borders. Be it Chopin or Chaikovsky, Beatles or Abba, Stevie Wonder or Elton John these great names and the music that they created will live forever and the melodies that they brought into our life will always be evergreen and modern.

The yardstick of a good composer's work is that the music must not leave you dispassionate. If the melody sticks into your head, if you want to listen to it again and again and sing it all day long, starting from the morning shower and then on the way to work and back to home, then composer deserves a word of encouragement.

I don't have a preference to a particular music genre although I have some favorite styles in which I like to work which are pop, Latin, lounge and jazz As any clothes looks great on a beautiful woman as melody can take on different clothes but everyone knows if there is a beauty underneath

I was honored to work with some of the best musicians of our time including Grammy award winner and the founder of Cuba's well-known band "Irakere" Chucho Valdes, a world-renowned Brazilian composer also a Grammy winner Joao Donato, a top singer in today's Brazil Emilio Santiago, foremost singers of Brazilian bossa nova Leny Andrade and Wanda Sa, Carlos El Rumbero a singer from world known group Gypsy Kings, a great guitar player from Russia Roman Miroshnichenko, a talented pianist Michael Link and many others And I am also very grateful to my partners working with me on arrangements of the melodies, first of all, a talented songwriter Andy Paley from LA and a very gifted arranger Sergey Erokhin.

I will be happy to stay in touch and to update you on new compositions that I will add to my site.

Yours,

Oleg Tumanov

Release:

Top Latin Stars combine forces in a unique project that bears the title of RIO HAVANA!

Sensual, romantic and vibrant bossa nova-inflected album comprises the soulfulness of both Brazilian and Cuban musical accents. The spellbinding melodies will captivate your heart and mind. A must-have gem in your collection!

Some of the greatest names in contemporary Latin music took part in the creation of "Rio Havana". Among them were Grammy award winner piano virtuoso, the founder of one of Cuba's well-known Latin jazz bands "Irakere" Chucho Valdes, a world-renowned Brazilian composer and truly a godfather of the bossa nova school of jazz, Grammy winner Joao Donato. Emilio Santiago who ranks among the top singers in Brazil, Leny Andrade, a foremost singer of Brazilian jazz and bossa nova and Wanda Sa with her enchanting velvet voice are both yet another contributors to perform Oleg Tumanov's music.

Be it either Chucho Valdes performing "Latin Romance", Wanda Sa with her soul-soothing "Vestido de rei", Emilio Santiago spicing things up in "Copacabana" and others, every single one of them adds his/her own zing to the project.

"Rio Havana" is the album you will enjoy listening to over and over again!

New Album &The; House of jeffness

HELLO, MY FRIENDS,

I added two more compositions to the album "In Instrumental Mood", called "Investigation" and "My Paris" http://olegtumanov.com/main/musicalbum=2

Both are French-chanson types of music. The first one is a foxtrot and the second is a jazzy waltz.

I have several songs of this kind already. Maybe, one day it will be a separate French album with a voice.

All the best,

Oleg

Today, the startup has launched two features to appeal to the consumer side, Neighbors and Answers.

MerchantCircle creates and manages profile pages for small businesses, and it says it has built a sizable user base and reached profitability earlier this year.. Now it's trying to offer those businesses more ways to attract customers online, with new services called MerchantCircle Answers and MerchantCircle Neighbors.
