and fixed asset investment control. Managed a staff of 19. A member of the Division Senior

Management team.

Installed a standard cost accounting system to enhance product cost accuracy, pricing

ability and management control of manufacturing and purchasing. Saved more than $1 million

annually.

Reduced accounts receivable by 10 days and generated $2.5 million.

Integrated two acquired companies into the division accounting system. Eliminated two

accounting departments, improved controls, and reduced labor and systems costs by

$240,000.

Generated cost reductions totaling more than $200,000 each year by encouraging employees

Organized the entire accounting function, which was in chaos before my arrival. Managed

the preparation of current accurate financial statements, developed management reports,

organized accounting functions, and brought the six month late year end external audit to

completion.

Reduced the monthly closing time from fifteen workdays to seven, which provided faster

and more accurate information to company management.

Eliminated one accounting position, which generated $35,000 per year in cost savings.
