Work Objective:
To obtain a position as a Webmaster/Graphic Designer that would allow
me to showcase a company's products with a positive corporate image
using Internet or Intranet sites and standard marketing and graphic
design tools.
Career Responsibilities and Achievements:
Currently responsible for updating public and secure web sites for
Galileo Technology, Inc. Implements design changes for all in-house
projects, creates new and updates to all graphic design work used on
company website and publications, creates CD-ROM's of company products
and marketing catalogs. Designing 3D animation featuring company
mascot. Solely responsible for all aspects of company's website
security. Responsible for designing and updating Intranet web sites
for Impend Technologies' clients (LesConcierges on-site at: GTE, Sun
Microsystems, Netscape Communications, Microsoft, R. T. Peak Travel
Company, and All-Cruise Travel). As Webmaster, I designed and
administered the content and layout of the web sites for San Jose
State University's College of Science and the Department of
Environmental Studies from initial conception. Took personal
initiative to learn HTML, MS Front Page, UNIX, and Perl programming,
recognizing that the Internet was a positive, interactive marketing
tool for today's marketplace. Was one of the first webmasters at SJSU
to notice that Netscape painted differently on PC-based systems from
that on Mac-based systems. Authored and designed marketing brochures
for College of Science campaigns. Researched, analyzed and implemented
all aspects of special events, presentations and conferences for
College. Managing editor of College of Science Newsletter.
Independently created standard layout for future newsletters.
Assisted with the design, preparation and production of marketing
tools, international advertising and public relations materials.

with the development of a new four-year Bachelors Degree program for
Environmental Health & Safety Professionals.
