Under Dr. Anura Jayasumana, Department of ECE, CSU.

Currently working on the Integrated Network Communications

Architecture (INCA), an integrated software architecture that improves

protocol-stack performance by using single memory copy and integrating

user-level network interface with protocol processing. It has been

implemented on Solaris, a scaled down version for Linux is also being

developed.

Developed software to allow transparent access (using VxDs) to

serial ports over the network (using Windows Sockets), using C in the

Windows 95 environment.

The VxD provided a virtual serial port on the client, and trapped

all requests to this serial port, redirected them over the network to

a daemon, which flushed these request to the actual physical port

residing on a remote machine.

Other Projects:

Parallel Algorithms: Parallelized and implemented, in C, the

Shortest Path Algorithm and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), using

Solaris threads and MPI.

Implemented a duplex audio conferencing system on Linux, using

UDP sockets.

Designed and implemented a Compiler for C-- (scaled-down version

of C) using C.

Simulated Power Control in Wireless CDMA and conducted a

performance evaluation, using an event simulation, written in C.

Developed a basic editor in Java and C.
