As an artist, I present my observations about life and art without regard for continuity of "style".

born - Endicott, NY, 1/26/54
Moved to Lubbock, TX in 1978 from Upstate New York. Has been living and working as a full-time studio artist in
Lubbock since receiving an MFA from Texas Tech University in 1981.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
- Founder of Anti-Stylism, having written its Manifesto in October, 2002
- Has created over 2,000 pieces of art in a wide variety of media including painting, sculpture, video, digital media,
printmaking, drawing, photography, text and audio since completing school in 1981.
- Has over 700 pieces included in more than 200 private and public collections on four continents.
- Featured on the cover and inside the November 1998 issue of "New American Paintings"; a publication that was
juried by Charlotta Kotik of the Brooklyn Museum.
- Numerous newspaper and magazine reviews for exhibitions in, New Orleans, Sante Fe, Houston, San Antonio,
Lubbock, Dallas, Austin, San Francisco, Oklahoma City, Rochester (NY), since 1982.
-Many commissions for paintings, murals, furniture, and etchings such as:
-commissioned to design, execute and print 11 etchings to accompany Charles Bukowski's "Not Quite
Bernadette" for a limited edition book published by Greybeard Press and produced by Joseph D'Ambrosio in
1989-90.
-commissioned to design and paint interior murals in Chateau Chenailles in the Loire Valley of France.
