Arch Deal Bio

As a newscaster at WSOC-TV, Charlotte, North Carolina, he was brought to the Tampa Bay area to eventually would end up as a street reporter at WFLA-TV, quickly working his way up to anchoring the six and eleven o'clock PM news and legendary status.* Performing a documentary on skydiving, Arch was talked into making one jump! He now has amassed over 6-thousand jumps including one in which neither chute worked.

He fell 3,000 feet, impacting in a citrus grove at Cypress Gardens, FL In spite of a broken neck, six ribs, broken back and separated pelvis, Arch survived and returned to anchor the news 12 weeks later.

With this background, Arch does a lot of motivational speaking, and is a competitive ballroom dancer, never feeling any effects from that dramatic fall.

Miller Brewing Company hired Arch as a Miller Lite All-Star, and Media Marketing Representative for 10 years, Skydiving into most major stadiums in America.
