Recent Major Projects:
Loan Review Audit Application (Role: Architect/Lead Developer). Led the development process and managed a small team to create this product which is used nationally for loan review audits. It provides a consistent structure for the team's fieldwork and generates the reporting needed while the auditor is still at the client site.
Sales Tax Audit Application (Role: Architect/Lead Developer). Worked closely with our State and Local Tax group to develop this product to help businesses recoup the overpayment of taxes that can occur as they do business across state lines. The software collects information from the audit team and fills out the appropriate governmental forms and cover letters to the client for ease of submission.
Performance Management System (Role: Architect/Co-Developer). Created the structure of the application and led pair-programming sessions with three others to develop this product. This product is used nationally for our yearly 360 degree performance feedback process for employee evaluations. It provides the ability for employees to evaluate each other as well as provide higher level reporting for career advisors and upper management.
Collaboration Sites/Internal Wikis (Role: Architect/Project Manager/Lead Developer). Led the development of this internal subscription-based product for our different groups and lines of business to have a spot to create a knowledgebase, share information, hold discussions, survey their people, and provide a spot where all members of a team can communicate equally with each other.
Team Project Management Software (Role: Architect /Project Manager/Lead Developer). Working as project manager on this project meant including people from many different teams throughout the organization and being able to mediate their sometimes conflicting needs. The software itself provides teams with the ability to manage projects, communicate deadlines, and track other processes effectively. The reporting allows for standard, calendar, and Gantt chart options. How we found compromise between the conflicting needs was to give each team strong personal customization options which gives each team its own control over their own criteria selections, categories, and other structural information while still keeping everyone within the same database structure for easier management reporting.
Flow Process Management Tools (Role: Architect/Project Manager/Lead Developer). This a collection of various projects where teams need the ability to keep track of the different steps in their audit or engagement as well as any pertinent data needed from the client. These tools provide the transparency needed among team members to ensure all parts of the project are completed and the information needed has been received.
No More Paper Forms Initiative (Role: Project Manager/Architect). This project involves managing a small team of direct and in-direct reports who are part of a larger field automation process. The purpose and scope of the project is to bring any regionally used paper forms online to provide greater accountability, to allow for better deadline management, and to ensure that resources are being allocated correctly.
Employee Intranet/Dashboard with Content Management System. (Role: Project Manager/Architect/Lead Developer). The project manager role in this project is also one of mediation to help find balance between the many different owners of our intranet. This is particularly key since our regional intranet is an integrated dashboard that shows important pieces from many of the applications used by our teams in addition to the user-generated content.
