* Improved delivery service level to customers from a stock finished goods position from 72% to 98% in first six months. This was accomplished by implementing weekly and monthly MRP planning routines, revising component safety stocks to support target service levels, making component lead times in the item data base accurate to insure accurate purchasing to targeted delivery dates, and in some cases changing to more reliable and lower cost suppliers netting $7400 annual savings in the process. At six months was awarded a discretionary bonus and given management responsibility over manufacturing group.

* Sole responsibility for overseeing implementation and configuration of new MRP software completed successfully September 2011. This software runs on top of new ERP system installed July 2011. The software will use planning algorithms to reduce inventory levels 10-20% valuation within twelve months while still providing excellent finished good service levels.

Increased inventory turns from three to eight, and also improved delivery to customers from 70% to 92% on-time. This system added value to the customer while reducing inventory carrying costs by $160K annually.

* Created a vendor-managed inventory system for ITW Trans Tech, which had been constantly out of stock on 850 low value components. Achieved $80K annual savings and reduced assembly inefficiency, putting sufficient product at point-of-use in assembly cells.

* Developed relational database software reports for monthly and quarterly inventory valuation ranking reports for active, slow moving, obsolete based on ITW 80/20 principles. Reduced 20 hours of accounting compilation man-hours per month, and achieved targeted inventory control decision methods.
