Casework Counselor for at risk youth ages 13- 17 on probation or in the custody of child protective services in the Cities of Alexandria and Arlington. Provide a positive support system through case management for youth to discuss personal issues, enhance positive decision making skills in order to return home and into the community. Counselors perform initial screening, intake procedures, monitor at risk youth, document reports and disciplinary reports, lead daily group counseling sessions, individual counseling sessions, monitor weekly community service projects, assess youth's progress in the program, communicate progress with probation officers, school officials, and parents of each youth.
